You don't have to perform here.
I'm Kelly Benini Fenley, LMFT.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent sixteen years working in the entertainment industry, advocating for music artists in a variety of roles.
Being immersed in that world taught me a lot about what it means to be a person behind the career.
I saw the pressure to succeed.
The uncertainty.
The identity questions.
The highs and lows.
And the ways that a person's professional life can become intertwined with their sense of self.
Eventually, I wanted to understand the human being underneath all of that on a deeper level.
That led me back to school, where I completed my Master's in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University.
Today, I bring both experiences into my work as a therapist.
I believe your story matters.
You are more than your career.
More than your relationships.
More than the things that have happened to you.
And more than the ways you've learned to cope.
My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy should give you room to understand all of those pieces without judgment.
My work focuses on trauma, process addiction, identity, and career navigation. I also work with clients experiencing codependency, depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and personality disorders.
I have completed training in EMDR and am continuing toward full certification.
But therapy isn't about me telling you who to be.
It's about helping you hear yourself clearly enough to decide.
Maybe you need to understand what keeps pulling you back into the same patterns.
Maybe you need to process something that still hurts.
Maybe you need to figure out what you actually want.
Maybe you're ready to stop living according to someone else's definition of success.
Whatever brings you in, you get to bring your whole self.
The parts you're proud of.
The parts you're confused by.
The parts you're still learning to accept.
You don't have to have it all together here.
You just have to show up.
And we'll begin from there.
I look forward to hearing from you when you’re ready.
